Discovering the Origination of Noodles
It is said that the very first noodles were actually prepared somewhere around 5000BC that is a long time ago. Noodles were discovered somewhere in the Middle East and they were not completely like the noodles we eat today but kind of similar to them. It was the year of 300 when Chinese people started forming whole grain paste into different foodstuffs that looked like noodles. It was after 200 years when they actually thought they this dish can be noodles itself. The same thing also happened simultaneously in Japan and noodles came into being. Some time later, Japanese went a step forward and their tea ceremonies then used to have buckwheat noodles.
The very first evidence of this spaghetti like stuff comes from a geologist who belongs to the Arab named Idrisi. He travelled all the way to Sicily in the year of 1138AD and discovered a substance their called Triyah. He reported that the food called Triyah actually resembled to threads that were made in very large quantities. It was the year 1700 when spaghetti was born that we love eating today and Napoli, Italy was the place where this production actually took place.
During the 1800s, Japanese took another step ahead in creating noodles and they were very much like what we eat today; in looks and taste both. It took them a lot of time and efforts to prepare them in those days. You will be amazed that around 40 percent of the entire flour being consumed in Asia today is being used to make noodles only; well, noodles are quite popular on this side of the globe as I say it. There is a topic that is hotly in debate among the food specialists today; some say that noodles and pasta are the same thing while some do not agree to this. Well, it is said the in the 13th century Marco Polo went to China and brought back noodles with him to Italy where pasta already existed; this is when these two things combined. Well, we can never be sure about what the actual link is between the two foods.
